Easter 2012...

We had a very pleasant Easter this year. We started the day by attending church, followed by brunch at our house. Liam was given his Easter basket and enjoyed a brief egg hunt before settling down for his Easter Sunday nap. Adam and I spent the afternoon napping and reading. Once we were well rested, we headed to my Grandpa's house for Easter dinner and croquet and bubbles on the lawn!

Liam had his little table next to ours. We left his Easter basket on his table for him to enjoy at his pace!
He went straight for a delicious snack he had never tried before....cheeto puffs!
While we do not give Liam candy, his basket was still full of the snacks Liam loves; Coconut water mini juice boxes, popcorn ( Liam's favorite), sour mints, and fruit twists....oh and of course the Cheetos which was our way of giving him something "special" to try for the holiday.
It went over well....Liam stuffed them right into his mouth!

Then washed them down with his coconut water!
While Liam enjoyed an Easter brunch of cheetos, we all ate brunch.

Grandma and Papi gave Liam an Easter bag filled with lovely, Liam size baking tools and pans!

Liam went straight to work, testing out his new baking tools and pans!

Liam enjoyed a brief Egg hunt, he hunted for about 5 eggs. By this point in the afternoon he was tired and ready for his nap.

It was a highlight of my day to receive this sweet picture Liam made for me in nursery!
After waking from his nap, Liam had renewed energy and decided to finish looking through the Easter basket we gave him. He discovered his raincoat, fire truck figurine, feature missionary tag, and his very own picture of Christ, he liked his "duck" coat best!
Playing with bubbles at Great Grandpa's house!

Playing croquet!
Liam loves the brightly colored croquet balls!

While we played croquet Liam was busy placing tiny pebbles into various metal dishes!

Topping off a wonderful Easter day, Liam rocked with Papi, until he was plenty tired and ready to head home to bed!
