April in Oceanside...

My grandpa has had a timeshare in Oceanside for as long as I can remember. We look forward to the time we get to spend at his beach house each year. With me being so pregnant and work being busy, busy for Adam, we decided to head down to Oceanside for a daycation. We paid our animal friends a visit at the San Diego Wild Animal Park for the first part of the day, and spent the remainder of the time frolicking on the shoreline.

A favorite find of Liam's were these two Monkeys.

The weather was interesting, overcast at the beach and HOT, HOT, HOT at the Park. Liam took the opportunity to cool off in the splash park.

Liam picked a strand of the brush and used it to tickle people...even strangers as we walked past them!

It really was a warm day, I told Adam I wished they had a 7-11 in the park so we can make a slurpee run. Shortly, Adam found me this slushy shack that saved the day!
Liam got right into the slushy action, and hoarded our refreshing drink the rest of the day!
Taking in all the animals on the tram.
He was so sweet to wave "hi" to all his animal friends that he recognized from his animal books!

We found a breezy spot in the shade for a picnic break.
It was nice to be able to spend our daycation with my Mom, Aunt, and Grandpa.
 Exploring the shorelines with Grandma.

 Adam got in some cruising!

Liam found great joy in chasing the seagulls.

After terrorizing them, he tossed them a few pieces of bread as peace offering.
