Lady bug, lady bug!

Liam met a lady bug for the first time on a nature walk a couple of weeks ago. He got a kick out of it, and to my surprise was rather gentle with it!



I often sing this, lady bug inspired, rhyme to Liam;

"Lady bug, lady bug fly out from the rose and land upon Liam's nose!"

"Lady bug, lady bug fly down from the tree and land upon Liam's knee!"

"Lady bug, lady bug get out of bed, and land upon Liam's head!"

"Lady bug, lady bug, you are really quite funny, land upon Liam's tummy!"

"Lady bug, lady bug, come out from that rug, and give Liam a great big hug!"
